Dear Jesus,
Today I want to begin a personal relationship with You. I realize that my life has not always been wonderful and I am not proud of some of the things I have done. Romans 5:8 tells me that You have loved me even when I have done wrong, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Please forgive me and help me turn from my wrongdoings.
I believe You loved me so much that You died on the cross for my sins. I also believe that You rose three days later demonstrating that You have conquered death and that one day, I will live with You forever. I'm asking You to come live in my heart and become Lord of my life. Jesus, how great you are and what a privilege it is to walk in a relationship with you. Amen.
