Meet Susan Campbell
My heart is for women to know Jesus. Really know Him. My hope is their lives, families, and communities are better because Jesus is their best friend.
During my twenty-plus year ministry, I’ve found myself developing women’s ministry programs, training thousands of women, equipping leaders, speaking at conferences, teaching in churches, and writing books. The thread that has tied it all together is my deep longing for women to understand the Bible. I know that’s where they will meet Jesus and begin to really bloom.
MY LONGING
I love to see women connect. My goal is to be a resource for women — making sure they are actively involved in the things they were created to do.
I grew up with a strong sense of doing life with others. My parents owned a local business, and everyone in the family all pitched in and worked hard together. Because of this, I know the value of community and collaboration and love that I can do ministry work with others.
MY JOY
I met Jesus as a little girl and have been in love with Him ever since. Our relationship is so personal and delightful. I light up when I get the chance to tell anyone and everyone about it!
My joy is to meet with women and really “see” them. I want to celebrate the little things of life, coffee with a friend or a tiny act of kindness, but also listen with compassion and meet Jesus in hard places. I want to be a soft place to land for women no matter where they are on their journey with our Savior.
MY LIFE
I enjoy traveling and learning about people from all over. I relish long walks and savor quiet moments of reading. But mostly, I love spending time with my husband, son, daughter-in-love and the newest addition to the family, baby James.
Not long ago, Steve and I moved across the country from Kansas City to a small town in Alabama. We called it “The Great Adventure.” Now, as the adventure continues, we remain in awe at all God is doing.
Over the years, my life has certainly been wild — often wildly good and sometimes wildly hard — but all the way, Jesus has been with me. That is truly what makes life wonderful.
